Pippa managed to remove the old wallpaper from the walls in the washrooms yesterday. We decided that the "toy fish" motif was not quite suitable to the theme of the restaurant. Hopefully we can start painting them this evening.
We completely finished the beige coats last night, except for future touch-ups, and we also got the first coat of paint on the office. As it stands right now, we might be able to finish the majority of the painting by tomorrow night or Saturday, depending on how many helpers show up this evening. The final coat of brown is going to be a very time-intensive coat - there is a lot of trim involved, and since the beige is "done," the final coat on the brown trim has to be done pretty slowly, to minimize touch-up requirements.
That's all that's new for today. Time to start painting again ...
